As it turned out, the IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro’s battery life was adequate but not exceptional. I would grade the battery life of the IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro as solid. If you don’t press the CPU too hard, you may get through the most of a workday unplugged, and the battery life is superior to that of many 16-inch competitors.
Performance
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-8265U processor, which is as fast as many mid-range laptops on the market. It’s also got 8GB of RAM and an impressive 256GB SSD for storage, so you should be able to do some heavy lifting without performance issues. The graphics card in this laptop is an NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (2GB GDDR5), which isn’t particularly powerful but does its job well enough that games like Fortnite won’t be too demanding on your system—and if they are then there’s still plenty of power under the hood with all those cores cranking away at high speeds!
